By training in meditation our mind will become calm and peaceful, free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience real happiness. Eventually, we will be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances
Buddha taught that the way to find true happiness is to seek it within our own mind. Through meditation we can reduce and finally abandon negative states of mind such as anger, craving and ignorance, and in their place cultivate positive, virtuous states of mind, such as love, contentment and wisdom.
